Trailers

My dad and I never missed an episode of Charlie’s Angels. My mom would roll her eyes and find something (anything) else to do but for an hour each week, two of us never blinked. Sure, it was far-fetched, outrageous, and over the top. Why did we watch? You guessed it, because it was far-fetched, outrageous, and over the top!

ABC’s bringing the outrageous fun back to tv this fall – now isn’t that cool of them?  Below is the video teaser.  I venture that a lot of people will be glued to ABC at 8/7 C each Thursday night. I’m game!

The Stars of Charlie’s Angels:

Minka Kelly – Marisa Valdez

Rachael Taylor – Abby Sampson

Annie Ilonzeh – Kate Prince

Ramon Rodriquez – Bosley

I’m really excited about the movie Warrior. It won’t be out until the fall, unfortunately – but when it does hit theaters, I think it’ll hit them hard. I’ll certainly be there to see it.

Warrior Synopsis: The youngest son (Tom Hardy) of an alcoholic former boxer (Nick Nolte) returns home, where he’s trained by his father for competition in a mixed martial arts tournament. He ultimately finds himself squared off against his older brother (Joel Edgerton). Jennifer Morrison stars as Tom Hardy’s wife.

The movie also stars Kurt Angle, who can currently be seen in an outrageously bizarre, yet darned entertaining, romp of a movie called Dylan Dog: Dead of Night. In this wild movie, Angle plays Wolfgang.

By the way, if you haven’t seen Fast Five, you really have to see it this weekend – it’s the best in the series. It’s hilarious, packed with action, and one of the most entertaining movies of the year. If you have seen it, give Dylan Dog a try. I’m willing to bet you haven’t seen anything quite like it in a while! It actually has quite a few laugh out loud moments – and as far as I’m concerned, that makes it a winner.

Fast Five

Here’s the Official Movie Trailer for Fast Five with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. Brunette beauties Gal Gadot (Giselle) and Jordana Brewster (Mia) are back, along with Diesel and Walker. Also returning to the franchise are Tyrese Gibson (Transformers, Death Race, Legion, Four Brothers, 2 Fast, 2 Furious) as Roman Pearce, Ludacris (Max Payne) as Tej, and Sung Kang returns to the role of Han Lue.

Fast Five, which boasts an all-star cast in every since of the word also stars Dwayne Johnson and Spanish actress Elsa Pataky (Snakes on a Plane).

Fast Five’s Plot:
Brian O’Conner (former officer, played by Paul Walker) partners with ex-con Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) on the “other” side of the law. Brian and Mia (Dom’s sister) broke Dom out of custody, and they’ve now eluding authorities across borders.

They find themselves pretty much trapped and running out of time in Rio de Janeiro. They realize they have to pull one last BIG job in order to gain their freedom.

They assemble an elite team of top racers, the best of the best. Tough guy federal agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) plays the sort of man who always gets his guy. He, of course, is assigned to track down Dom and Brian, and his strike team launch an all-out assault to capture the two.

As Hobbs and his men tear up Brazin in pursuit, he realizes that it’s getting nearly impossible to tell the “players” apart… Who’s the good guy and who’s the bad guy?

To make things even more interesting, Hobbs isn’t the only one after Dom and Brian. Someone else is on their trails and they don’t want them captured – they want them dead.

Gorgeous scenery, fast action, and a killer cast. This is one to start looking forward to right now.

When it comes to acting and when it comes to movies, Johnny Depp is the man. When it comes to pirates, Captain Jack Sparrow is the pirate. So to say that I’ve been anxiously awaiting the trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean On Strangers Tides would be like saying Rita Hayworth was a female.

Woeful understatement.

Now that I’ve gotten my “trailer fix,” I now enter a desperate state of anxiousness awaiting opening night! Given that it won’t be until May, I’m in for a long haul.

I’m sure you’ve noticed that one of the most beautiful, talented, and intelligent actresses to ever grace the screen is back in the news. Can you tell that Julia Roberts is a favorite of mine? Right up there with Audrey Hepburn, Angelina Jolie, Lucille Ball, Keira Knightley, Sandra Bullock, and Cameron Diaz.

Now, that’s a killer list of ladies.

The lovely Julia Roberts has a new movie coming out – Eat, Pray, Love (HD Trailer below).

Eat, Pray, Love synopsis: While trying to get pregnant, a happily married woman realizes her life needs to go in a different direction, and after a painful divorce, she takes off on a round-the-world journey. Based on the memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert.

Julia, who is as beautiful as ever, isn’t your typical Hollywood actress. She says she’s looking forward to aging gracefully. “It’s unfortunate that we live in such a panicked, dysmorphic society where women don’t even give themselves a chance to see what they’ll look like as older persons. I want to have some idea of what I’ll look like before I start cleaning the slates,” the  42 year old says. “I want my kids to know when I’m pissed, when I’m happy, and when I’m confounded. Your face tells a story… and it shouldn’t be a story about your drive to the doctor’s office.” [Elle Magazine]

Great stuff!

Eat, Pray, Love will be in theaters August 13, 2010 and I will SO be there, popcorn with M&Ms and Diet Coke in hand and husband in tow.

Johnny Depp in full Captain Jack Sparrow regalia? Nothing quite like it, eh?!?!

It looks like Will Smith is set to blow us all away at the box office…. again! Can’t wait for this one.

I recently watched the first movie in the Transporter series and loved it. Jason Statham is perfect in this role and the action sequences and driving scenes blew me away.

Apparently, the 3rd movie plans on doing the same thing. Jason Statham says that Transporter 3 is “a fan’s dream come true.” He also says that in his opinion, the action scenes are quite a bit different than what we saw in the first two movies.

Transporters 3 will be in theaters November 26th.

If you’re like just about everyone else, you’re getting pretty excited about Twilight. It’ll FINALLY be in theaters November 21 (20 days to go!) and a lot of people are expecting it to have “Dark Knight” type success.

I guess we’ll see soon enough.

You could actually beat the crowds and the drama by buying your tickets online now at Fandango. If you use the banner to the right, you’ll get a free remix of Bella’s Lullaby.

Twilight has a soundtrack that should be pretty amazing in its own right. The soundtrack features songs from Paramore, Linkin Park, Collective Soul and Muse. In addition to Robert’s song, “Never Think”, “Spotlight” and “Bella’s Lullaby.” (You can find them all on YouTube.)

“Never Think” by Robert Pattinson:

Top Twilight-Related Websites and Fansites:

Robert Pattinson Daily - This is one of the newer Robert Pattinson websites and it’s a totally hot site. The layout is sexy cool and the pictures, literally, seem to grow daily.  One of the webmistresses does the infamous Zac-e.com – one of the most respected and popular fansites online.

Robert Pattinson Fan  – Another hot Robert Pattinson website!  The energy and passion I’m picking up on from Robert Pattinson’s fans reminds me of the exact same of fan passion that erupted with Orlando Bloom around The Lord of the Rings and Pirate movies.  It’s exciting!

Robert Pattinson Web - Another, you guessed it, hot Robert Pattinson website!  The updates on this website are amazing.  They don’t just seem to update every single day, there are several updates EACH day.  As someone who runs 4 celeb sites herself (Keira, Angelina, Megan, Ben – links in the sidebar!), I know how much work it takes to run a website.  People honestly have no idea.  This website, like the other ones I’ve included here make it look effortless.

Kris-Stewart.org – I can’t even tell you how much I love this actress. I honestly see her as the next Natalie Portman/Keira Knightley. She’s stunning and so talented. This is a wonderful website, with unbelievable pictures – and you have to check out the banner!

Cam Gigandet Online – This is a great website for Cam Gigandet. I could stare at the banner all day. Hypnotizingly hot! I am so glad to have a great source of pictures and information for this talented actor.

Jackson Rathbone . Org - Gorgeous website… I’m all wild about the colors.  Not just a little wild. No, all wild.  The website even features an interview with Jackson.  I’m pretty sure you can count Jackson Rathbone amongst the stars that’ll be launched high as a result of Twilight.    Jackson will also be in the upcoming movies S. Darko and Daze.

His Golden Eyes.com – Wow. Gorgeousness! This website also features unbelievable pictures and very, very frequent updates. What’s more, unless about a gazillion people are wrong, the hottest Twilight forum online calls this site home.

You honestly have to check these websites out. They’re all amazing.

It doesn’t get much better than this. One of my favorite-ist actors and directors, Clint Eastwood directed one of my favorite-ist actresses ever, Angelina Jolie, in Changeling. It opens tomorrow in theaters and if I had a tent I’d probably go camp out just to be near them when they hit town.

I have a feeling the performances, settings, clothes, story – everything – is going to be remarkable.
