When you start rounding up reading material for the summer – wheter it’s for reading on your deck or on the beach, don’t overlook the most fascinating group of books you could hope for (outside of Dean Koontz!): Hollywood biographies. The book above is just one of the many that I highly recommend. Marilyn, James Dean, Ava Gardner, and Lucille Ball all make fascinating “leading characters” and their bios are real page-turners!
The Many Lives of Marilyn Monroe, and countless other Hollywood bios are available at Overstock.com. for prices lower than just about anywhere. Ebay is another great place to check for great biographies – if you don’t mind used copies. (Which, quite frankly, I don’t mind at all!)
