Shop the Television City Classic TV Store from CBS

Duh on me. Duh all over me. I’d never even visited the CBS Online Store – because (obviously), with rare exceptions (House, Survivor, Amazing Race, Fringe) I much prefer yesterday’s television shows to todays. As you can imagine, TVLand is on my television more than any other network.

Anyway, I had no idea the CBS Store featured my kind of people: Lucy, Ricky, Andy, Barney, Matt Dillon, Dr. Quinn (I’d love to see TVLand bring this series on board), Laverne, Shirley, Fonzie, Richie, Granny, Jed, Ellie Mae, Jethro, the Brady’s, the Love Boat crew, Spock, Captain Kirk, The Little Rascals, etc!

They also have Beverly Hills 90210, Jericho, Taxi, and countless other shows.

Click the link above to take a look at the different tees and merchandise. There’s a really great tee with Andy, Opie, and Barney that reads, “Nobody Escapes From the Mayberry Jail.” We know better, of course, but shhhhh. No need breaking Barney’s spirit.

Be sure to vote for your favorite “First Family” on TVLand. The nominees are: The Taylors of Andy Griffith, The Sanfords from Sanford and Son, and the Clampetts from Beverly Hillbillies. These are three of my absolute sitcoms ever. I had a really hard time deciding which one to vote for. At least my other favorites (I Love Lucy, Good Times, Roseanne) weren’t thrown in as well.

The winning family earns a marathon of their show on election day. What a cool idea. TVLand’s always cooking up something fresh and fun. Love them.

Click HERE to vote for your family, then get good and comfortable Tuesday – because, no matter which of the 3 wins, it’ll be a wonderful day of laughs. I’m stocking up on popcorn and M&M’s tomorrow.

“Scrubs” premieres on Labor Day with a 7-hour marathon on Monday, September 1 on a channel that’s welcome in my home anytime: TVLand. Sit back and let J.D., Turk, Elliot, Carla, Dr. Cox and the entire Sacred Heart Hospital staff keeps you in stitches. “Scrubs” is joining TV Land’s line-up in its regularly scheduled timeslot of 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT) from Monday to Friday beginning Tuesday, September 2.

“‘Scrubs’ is the perfect contemporary acquisition for TV Land as the network continues to grow as the ultimate entertainment network for people in their 40s and 50s,” states Larry W. Jones, president, TV Land. “Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison and the entire cast is at their comedic best and their neurotic and side-splitting antics keep viewers laughing all night long. The quick-wit and humor of this series definitely appeals to our audience, and it is precisely the reason why TV Land voted it the winner of the 2001 Future Classic Award.”

“Scrubs” follows the dynamic daily routines and bizarre happenings of the Sacred Heart hospital staff. Having premiered in October 2001, the series continues to be a prime time network hit as John “J.D.” Dorian (Zach Braff) narrates the everyday personal and professional challenges that he and surgical intern and college buddy Chris Turk (Donald Faison) and the ambitious yet quirky intern Elliot Reid (Sarah Chalke) face. Monitoring, mocking, belittling and criticizing their every move are: the sarcastic attending physician Dr. Perry Cox (John McGinley); the Chief of Medicine Dr. Bob Kelso (Ken Jenkins); the warm-hearted nurse Carla Espinosa (Judy Reyes) and J.D.’s adversary – the conspiring hospital janitor (Neil Flynn).
