What better sex symbol to start this category off with than gorgeous Ursula Andress? Her “Bond Girl”, Honey Ryder, is still considered by most to be the spy’s ultimate leading lady.

Ursula was born in Bern, Switzerland, on March 19th, 1936. She, as well as her six siblings, were raised by Protestant parents. She freaked her Protestant parents right out when, at 17, she ran off for Rome with a French actor. The parents called Interpol and the sex-capade was cut short.
In 1957, Ursula met and married John Derek. She had a lover by 1964 and the marriage was over by 1965.
Some of her most popular movies were Dr. No, What’s New Pussycat? (With Peter Sellers, Peter O’Toole and Woody Allen) , Fun in Acapulco (With Elvis), Four for Texas (With Anita Edberg, Dean Martin and Jerry Lee Lewis), and Clash of the Titans (With Laurence Olivier and Harry Hamlin).
In the movie The Tenth Victim, Ursula wore the original “Wonder” bra – the one that shot bullets. @@ I’m guessing that made a lasting impression on millions of young boys!
Not only was she married to John Derek, she had a wild fling with James Dean. She is rumored to have even been with him when he bought the car he was killed in.
She had another short-term relationship with another young actor, Harry Hamlin. They met while shooting “Clash of the Titans”. Ursula (then, 43) and (then, 27) married, producing Ursula’s only child, Dimitri.

*I added a “Honey Ryder” wallpaper today (see the wallpapers link to the left), and I’m working on a few others. So check back later for more!
