Ann-Margret, Pamela Tiffin, and Anthony Franciosa
I’ve always loved Ann-Margret and have considered her to be one of my favorite actresses since I was old enough to watch movies. Love her to distraction. I’ve recently become more familiar with Pamela Tiffin and wonder what took me so long to watch her films! She’s wonderful and I’ve become a huge fan.
I think my problem (if you want to really call it a problem) is the same one a lot of other old Hollywood fanatics run into – we watch so many movies from the Silent Era, the Thirties, and the Forties, that we sometimes neglect the Fifties, Sixties, and Seventies – especially the Sixties. Yet, truth be told, there’s a lot of GOLD in 60’s Hollywood!
I’ve been trying to make up for lost time by watching more movies and television shows from this particular decade and I am totally in love. The fashion, the cars, the interior decorations and design, the hairstyles, the music, the dialogue… like I said, pure GOLD.
The Pleasure Seekers (1964) is a fun, very colorful film and one I think you’ll really enjoy. The film stars Ann-Margret, Carol Lynley, Pamela Tiffin, Anthony Franciosa, and Gene Tierney (in her last film).
The Pleasure Seekers is available on Amazon (link to the dvd).
